Feist-Weiller Cancer Center

 
  The Feist-Weiller Cancer Center has been designated a Center for Excellence in Cancer Research, Treatment, and Education. It is a cooperative community/academic partnership that serves area physicians, cancer patients, and the general public as a resource in the fight against cancer. In the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, oncologists, clinician-scientists, and scientists work together in various aspects of cancer treatment and cancer research.

Louisiana State University operates eleven hospitals, nine of which are managed by the Health Care Services Division. Combined, the LSU facilities admit 81,000 patients annually, and they provide nearly 2 million outpatient visits, around 70 percent of which are clinic visits.
