Dr. Xin Gu

Xin Gu, MD

Associate Professor of Pathology

Clinical Services -- Education -- Board Certifications -- Publications

I finished my pathology residency training at LSU Health Sciences Center in June 2001. After that I did one year renal pathology fellowship in LSUHSC. Prior to the pathology residency, I was involved in basic research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). At UAB, my research work focused on cellular second messenger pathways and disease development. In LSUHSC, my service and research focus on renal pathology and surgical pathology.

The LSUHSC-Shreveport Renal Consultative Services offers consultations in renal pathology and urologic pathology (notably renal neoplasia); both represent subspecialties of diagnostic interest and academic productivity. It is our commitment that LSUHSC-Shreveport Renal Pathology Consultative Services will partner with you to provide the highest caliber service to your patients.
