You receive interpretive comments on each test to help you assess the impact of the results. Frequently, we customize reports with additional information or recommendations for sequential patient disease monitoring.

Only one form is needed for Molecular Pathology,
Cytogenetics and/or Flow Cytometry testing on the same
specimen.
The Molecular Pathology/Cytogenetics & Flow Laboratory Test Requisition forms (S/N 7480) will be REQUIRED for all Molecular Pathology, Cytogenetics and Flow tests. Consult forms and Miscellaneous test requests can NOT be used. The new form MUST be completed and sent with the specimen to the Clinical Laboratory. A Request for Molecular Pathology/Cytogenetics (LAB5148) should also be entered in Invision/NetAccess with the test information entered in comments. We will need the FEDEX tracking number, Patient Name/ID, & Sending Client Name/ID for facilitate the timely delivery of the specimen to the lab.

Local courier service is provided by several contracted individuals in addition to our own on-staff courier personnel. Our couriers deliver specimens, supplies, and reports as required. All personnel are appropriately trained in the handling and transport of bio-hazardous / infectious materials.
